The "Estancia"
A breath of fresh air, a slight breeze, birds singing, the Pampean sky reflected on the lagoon, and the sound of leaves moving complete the beautiful scenery in the estancia’s exteriors. The estancia is located in Chascomús City, which is 80 miles from Buenos Aires.  It can be accessed directly from the National Highway "Route 2".

We offer a total of 9 fully equipped guest rooms between the two houses including: new and recycled bathrooms, original furniture and a solid overall construction made of noble materials.  A spacious living room, dining room and a cozy fireplace complete the accommodations.  This Tudor style chalet was constructed in 1928 by Fermin Pierri (Grandfather of the present owner).

The old shed has been transformed into a "Quincho".  This voluminous room has a fireplace and wide window panels which provide an excellent view to sunsets, and invites our guests to rest and relax.  In the “Quincho” we usually serve exquisite traditional Argentinean foods to share with family and friends.

The estancia is located in Chascomús City, which is 80 miles from Buenos Aires.  It can be accessed directly from the National Highway "Route 2".

Turn right and make 3.5 more kilometers approximately, where you will find the dirt road to "Gándara".
Turn right on this road and continue for 2.2 km, where you will find the gate and a wood sign reading "Estancia la Horqueta".

Nautical Activities
The Chalet is located on the border of the Vitel Lagoon; this lake extends itself over 1400 hectares. On its border, our guests can have the opportunity to take a paddle boat, a Canadian canoe, kayak, sail boat, windsurf or kite surf and tour this breathtaking lagoon.

Bird sight seeing
Black necked swans, green-winged teals, mallards, wood ducks, black-belled wisting ducks, albatross, cormorants, flamingos and herons are just a few of the exotic species you can take a glimpse at.

Horse Back Riding
One of the top choices for our guests, who can explore the pampean plains and cross the corn, sunflower and soy fields and see Aberdeen Angus cattle’s, hares, mules or foxes along the way.

Plant and tree lovers will have the opportunity to sightsee "La Horqueta’s" park with Enrique Pierri.  He has written a book about the existing types of trees in the area.  Our guests will learn about American oaks, marshes, liquidambars, bald cypresses, ash trees, canarian palm trees, paradises, constantinoplan acacias and cedars, amongst other species.

Are another option to explore the park.

Wood games for children
A vertical climber, swings, fixed bars, slides, large rings, firemen tubes and a small house complete this wonderful set of outdoor activities just for kids.

Long swims in the pool, restful afternoons on the pool chairs and appetizers served on the spot, can be enjoyed after the first days of October.

Other activities
