The Ranch
Situated in Pilar, Polo capital of the World and only 45 minutes outside of Buenos Aires. It is surrounded by some of the most famous polo clubs. The area is 37 hectares big and surrounded by the typical old Eucalyptus trees. The club has two official playing fields, a practice field for stick & ball, two country houses, a swimming pool, 40 stables and a picturesque lagoon.

WIFI internet is available in the club house.

Staying at the club
For those who would like to stay in the country for a couple of days we offer great accommodation in our country houses. While enjoying nature and the tranquility of the place, our horses and the excellent home made food, you will have an unforgettable experience at Estancia de Descanso y Polo.

Country house
The country house consists of two wings separated by a large living room. It has a nice fireplace, a bar and kitchen. In one of the wings there are two double rooms with bathroom. The other wing also has two double rooms with a bathroom.

Cabin
The cabin also has two rooms with bathrooms, one a double bedroom and one has two separate beds. Furthermore there is an attic with two more single beds.

Attached to the cabin is a loft with bathroom and three beds, which can be expanded to four separate beds.

The Polo
The club is an official member of the AAP, the Association Argentina de Polo, which guarantees our quality.

Estancia de Descanso y Polo specializes in receiving polo players who want to perfect their game and who want to intensely enjoy this passionate sport.

In the morning polo classes are given by professional instructors. In the afternoon we organize polo games of 4 to 6 chukkers. The games are always joined by Argentinean polo professionals with handicaps ranging between 2 to 7 goals. You can participate in the games in the afternoon or choose to stick & ball, in order to perfect your game. 

During high Season (September up to January) we visit the neighboring clubs to enjoy the Worlds highest level games of polo. Our neighbors are some of the famous polo families like the Pieres family at the Ellerstina club, the He guy brothers of Indios Chapalefu and the Merlos family at polo club La Mariana. During high season you can watch the games of the polo teams that participate in the tournaments of the Triple Corona, of which the Palermo Open is the last and most prestigious of the season.

With over 30 horses the club is prepared for receiving players of all levels. Beginners up to the most advanced players can be accommodated at our club. (Enquire our programs).

Polo School
The Polo School gives lessons the whole year, so you can plan your trip whenever you like. We organize polo practices and polo clinics that range from a full day to four or more days with full boarding in the Estancia.

Convention days
In a relaxed environment, far away from the buzzed of the city, Estancia de Descanso y Polo is the ideal place to enjoy a productive day of work. The club house is ideal for small conventions of up to 10 people, the "quincho" is ready for almost 40 people.

Business & private events
With a park of more than 20 acres, horses, horse carriages, a football field and a swimming pool, Estancia de Descanso y Polo is the ideal place to enjoy and relax, either with your company or with your family and friends. (Enquire our programs).
